I suggest you stop buying and selling lenses that you cannot afford to let sit, and go take pictures instead.
Also, stop returning used items to Amazon. They probably would have just refunded you the money had you explained the situation. You are the reason I keep buying new items but getting used ones.
Not trying to sound harsh, but seriously... Your problem is not being unhappy with lenses, it's buyers remorse.
Understood. My problem is not waiting for the relatively frequent Fuji discounts before buying my new 16-55 three weeks ago. In terms of contacting them, I looked and found now way to get a human on the phone at Amazon. But I get your point. Thanks.
Never had trouble getting a live person. (Contact inf is real easy to - it's listed at the bottom of practically every web page). And I've had to use their Customer Service because of situations like you just probably created for someone else. Maybe your next lens purchase will be someone else's used item! Karma...
Don't have any advice on your lens dilemma other than to go back and pick your favorite shots then look at the lenses used and the qualities that you like in each shot. Then move forward from there. You'll also need to answer whether the convenience of zooms is preferable over primes, etc. Really won't be easy to get the much advice from strangers for your personal preferences and shooting style / needs.
Karma indeed. I tried "Help" and "Contact Us" - it seemed Amazon wanted to avoid a phone conversation entirely. I now see that they have an option where they'll call you back. Hindsight. As you and others have pointed out, my returning this lens will cause potential problems for another consumer - I want no part of that and will factor that into my future decisions. Thanks.
