Micro 4/3 lens for Video? Need Help?
Micro 4/3 lens for Video? Need Help?
Aug 18, 2016
Okay I have been shooting with two Panasonic G7's for a few months now. I started this hobby with an entry level Nikon, though I loved it I found out I was shooting way more video, and in my research found that mirror-less camera's had what I was looking for. Without the cash upfront to get the GH4, I decided on a couple G7's which I really do like. I just can't decide what lenses to get next. They only thing I keep wishing I had was a wider lens, for a better wide angle shot, because I feel like my 14-42mm kit lens isn't enough. Am I being to picky or asking too much, is 14mm fairly wide? I'm a novice. My problem since I do mostly video I do want a lens that is automatic and will auto focus, (I mean that's the main reason I went mirror-less, for the fast follow focus capabilities). I feel like I am restricted to Panasonic lens's that are way more than I want to spend. I feel like I've continued to stretch my budget to allow more and more, so I can make the right purchase. I don't know what to do, haha. Any ideas? I trust this site and these forums. Always goo info here.
Thanks,
