700D error message

I fell with my 700D and 18-135STM lens, which hit the floor with a light bump. A few day later I noticed that I had to depress the shutter button harder for it to engage. Eventually, it packed up with an 'error 20' message coming up. I switched the camera off, replaced the battery a number of times but nothing changed. I was told that to repair the situation would cost me approx £120 by replacing a unit in the camera. Has anyone got any other advice on what I can do because I think I would rather replace the camera with the 760s or 70D or 80D rather than to pay for the repair.
