Already Obsolete! No Mac support.
Re: Already Obsolete! No Mac support.
It would be really nice if Canon could take the time to do the updates needed for cameras that are currently being sold. Had a similar issue with the Canon Powershot SX610 HS that I only purchased new TWO days ago. Am running the operating system 10.11.6 on my Macbook pro and unable to download canon software for Camera Window as it only supports up to version 10.10
Thought it would be wonderful to have a little pocket camera with Wifi connection but looks like for now at least will have to use a card reader with my Mac which is very unfortunate. Also feel disappointed in Canon as the new Mac operating system has been out for a while.
Clearly would not have purchased this item had I known this as have the SX200 as well as the Rebel T4i which I already use with a card reader.
