The 16-55 vs. the 18-55 vs the 16-50.. another not so scientific test.

Tried this earlier today using a tripod and found almost no keepers on the tripod held 16-55 so I decided to repeat the testing handheld.  I tried to keep focal points and settings as close as possible but nothing is really exact, exact.

First test a sign in the bay at max mm.  I know the 16-50 only goes to 50 but that's life.

Next group below used a Palm tree trunk (centered to pic middle) at 35mm and f5.6, which they could all do.

Next three had the target as the ship's light cover in the image's center. F2.8 except for the 16-50 which starts at 3.5.  FWIW, there may be some changes in light along the way due to clouds, whatever.  It's 90 something on the street so these were shot from my balcony.  After this set of three there will be a followup with more images.

OK, I know they cover slightly different focal lengths and they are hand held. I'd love to hear some objective feedback.  They were all shot over maybe 10 or 12 minutes, light may not be exactly the same (clouds) in every image and they were not tweaked at all after import using my user import profile for Fuji. ..  just developed to jpeg.
