Have you tried the ETC or even digital zoom of GX7? ETC (Extended Tele Converter) is a in-camera cropped. Enabling the function, and use a smaller file size would give similar effect (but smaller file size).

Many thanks to everybody who responded. I understand that looking rof a teleconverter to my 14-140 makes no sense.

Yes, I tried digital zoom in gx7 when considered buying tokina 300 mirror lens. 2x digital zoom of gx7 and 140 focal length gave 280 mm, close to 300 of tokina. gx7 with digital zoom made better pictures in terms of sharpness and contrast, so I abandoned the idea of buying tokina 300. Tests were made in a shop, I shot a stret view some 50 m away through a shop window pane, I was assisted by a shop assistant, the gx7 was on a steady pro tripod, the shutter was released with 2 sec delay to avoid shaking.

But what would you say about a wide converter? The Panasonic 7-14 lens is rather expensive for me, more than I payed for both gx7 and 14-140. I recently like making photos inside churches and realized that wider lens than 14mm would be very useful.
