I picked up an nx20 kit cheap to get my feet wet with the system. Something told me to hold off on adding lenses and accessories, and I'm glad I listened. I will probably be returning to Olympus. Fuji is just too expensive for what you get and I want to stay in the mirrorless world and I stopped buying Sony decades ago. Panasonic would be a good option but I like Olys feature set more.

NX20 has fine IQ but is pretty sluggish and unenjoyable to use IMHO. The EVF is pretty poor too. If my only exposure to Samsung was the NX20 I would definitely bail on the system. I do like the compact form factor though. NX30 and NX1 are a lot bigger.

I am absolutely not bailng on the system because of the nx20. I knew its imitations when I bought it. I'm bailing because the system is dead and not worth investing in anymore.

I don't think any system is worth 'investing in' if by that you want to actually make money selling it on in the future.

Yeh, "investing" is the wrong word to use when talking about mass produced camera gears.  It implies that you're expecting the value to appreciate and make a profit from it, which isn't really going to happen.  But we all know he means that the money will go further and provide more longevity if he buys into another system (lenses anyway).

I've been eyeballing the 60mm and 85mm myself but I can't justify putting more money into this.... =\
