Use it until it dies.

It is indeed sad to see Samsung leave when they were at the top of their game, after releasing the NX1. I did recently considering selling it and moving along but then I realised that there still isn't anything out there with the combination of stills and video IQ, speed (AF and general camera responsiveness), ergonomics, user friendliness and great pro zoom lenses.

The ergonomics of the NX1 makes it especially hard to replace for me. I love the placement of the 2 main dials - one at the top and one near where your thumb rests, not hanging on the edge of the camera. This combined with the shape of the grip makes it a pleasure to hold. I don't like front dials because it encourages you to bend your wrist more and places pressure on it. The only other grip and dial combination that I enjoy is the Olympus EM1.

The only thing that comes close in my books would be the Fuji XT-2, but the lack of a touchscreen and needing a vertical grip to unlock more power irks me...

I wonder what would happen to the market prices of samsung lenses 3-5 years from now.  I guess people's biggest concern is that their lenses will all cost dirt cheap couple yeers from now because there are no cameras to use them.  I wonder how the market will change for the cost of lenses in the future.
