I hope everything goes well with the purchase, heres my 2 cents:

I own both the 6D & 80D. I did an ISO comparison. Its pretty much a David and Goliath (just this time Goliath wins)...I can get up to 6400, sometimes even more on the 6D without much noise, while the 80D I can barely eek out 2000 at the most (this is VERY frustrating, considering I do wildlife with an f5.6 lens I don't get too many good shots when it gets darker...). I try to not go over 1000.

If you need better lowlight, I'd highly consider getting a 6D over the 80D. The 80D is a great camera, touchscreen and articulating combined rock for video, but you will have a hard time with those higher ISOs. Best bet would be to get a super low aperture lens with the 80D if you go that route, 17-55 f2.8 is good, and the 1.8 I'd suggest using when you get to lower light so you don't have to boost up the ISO too much.

I hope it all goes well!
