Already Obsolete! No Mac support.

Canon isn't supporting the current Mac operating system for this camera! Though the box and specs say that it is "wifi" certified and supports Mac and PC, that is incorrect. Here is a email from Ronald, a technical support representative at Canon:

I regret to inform you at this time the Canon software isn't available for Mac OS X 10.11

ImageBrowser EX, PhotoStitch, and Movie Edit Task applications will not be supported in Mac OS 10.11 and later. Development of those applications is considered discontinued and bugs will not be fixed except for serious malfunctions.

CameraWindows DC: Unable to connect to camera with the WI-FI function and app does not activate automatically when connecting the camera to the computer.

It is frustrating to purchase a new $450+ camera, and find out that it does not match the advertised specs.  I'm wondering how many other specs are also not as advertised.

It does take good pictures, and is relatively small.  If you have a PC, or have an old mac that you don't want to update, maybe this isn't an issue for you.
