EOS M10 vs M1 or M2: anything to gain from DIGIC 6 or the 15-45mm lens ?
3

Hello,

I have the EOS M1 and M2 cameras with the 22mm and 18-55mm lenses. The M1's obvious flaw is the AF speed, while the M2's flaw is that the white balance and color reproduction are not as good as the M1 in my view. Always colder and flatter. I also had the M3 but sold it due to many reasons related to heavy vignetting and color reproduction. So I was thinking about a new camera for my upcoming vacation, mostly out of boredom But the choice is limited.

I am a "Canon colors" fan, so I am not interested to switch to another brand right now.

But I saw some very good deals on the EOS M10 with the 15-45mm lens. The 15mm lens could come really handly for landscapes.

Has anyone "upgraded" from an EOS M1 or M2 to the M10 with 15-45 ? Does the DIGIC 6 make any difference in image quality or AF speed ? I read good things about the 15-45 lens sharpness, is it much better than the 18-55 ?

Thanks !
