I really love the 24STM!

Personally I would switch it up between the 85 and the 10-18, and then see which one delivers more images you enjoy by looking through your library over the next several trips.

My guess is you will just use the 24 80% of the time. But the experiment will tell you if you find more interesting wide/ultra wide or more tele photos. I like shooting action and wildlife but that is usually a dedicated situation rather than being unplanned. For more general travel, I think I want tele but end up taking better shots with wide.
