... get an X-T2. If the New Zealand/Australian price fixed are going down the same path as they were with the X-Pro2 (NZ$ 2.700,00 body only) then the X-T2 should be around NZ$ 2.500,00.

I know that a lot of people here just shrug this off and even think that, if the X-Pro2 had been released post Brexit the camera would have been (in NZ$ terms) around 3.000,00.

Be it as it may, I find this really spoils some of the fun I was having with the "almost" fairly priced 3 Fuji X-cameras I had.

Maybe Fuji is going down this "boutique" brand path for boutique people? When the 16-55/2.8 is NZ$ 2.028,00 a Pro2 plus the zoom is close enough to NZ$ 5.000,00.

Now I will get one of those cameras (although the X-E3 would be just fine for me) and can only hope that this snobbish "ah, well, if you can't afford it, move elsewhere.." won't work.

The photo below taken last week end, would have loved to use the T2 on that occasion, but this price-hiking is seriously spoiling the fun for some of us down here. Sadly Fuji only seems to listen to those with the well padded wallets.
