Re: Four Thirds lenses vs Micro Four Thirds lenses IQ

I am not sure how well these ft lenses work on Panasonic bodies, but theses lenses was my reason for getting into  mft cameras . I currently have the Olympus E-M1 and the only mft lenses that I own are the 75-300mm, the 40-150 ( cheap one) and the Panasonic 25mm 1.7.

My collection of ft lenses are the 12-60, 35mm macro, 9-18mm. These lenses are bitingly sharp, and just as fast on the E-M1 as any mft lenses that I have used.  I am not conversant with Panasonic's bodies, so I am not sure if the GX7 or any has PDAF in which case should work just as good as on the E-M1. As for cheap adapters, Viltrox makes an adapter which I found to be as good as the Olympus ones. I use the MMF3, but only because it is water and dust resistant.
