I keep hearing people complain about lack of greater than 200mm on this system. Yet those same people don't even have any photos using other cameras with 200mm+ lenses. I question whether a lot of these people have ever owned and used anything over 200mm, or if it is all talk.

Yes, I complained about the lack of something longer than 200mm for NX and you won't find any picture from me here at dpreview. But I own my Nikon longer than the NXes and for Nikon I own AF lenses up to 500mm and I would have appreciated a replacement of my old Bigma with a similar lens with NX mount. Samsung did not deliver, even the 50-150 came too late and when it came, I wasn't interested anymore. Got myself the Nikon AF-S 4/70-200 VR for the D700, as a lighter alternative to my old Tokina 4/100-300 and Nikon 2.8/70-200 VR I. With cashback it did cost 900€ new, around 600€ less than the 50-150 one year later. I didn't invest in the S lenses, because they came too late. Because I had no S lenses, I was not interested in the NX1 and bought instead a Sony A7II for even more money as an early adopter.

My manual Nikon AI 3.5/400 is still good adapted to my NX30, even at the Mini, but since last summer I mostly use a Nikon P900 (replaced a P520 i gave to my sister) if I need a really long tele or for travel. The bridge is simply much more convenient than my old heavy weights on a tripod. Image quality isn't that bad for the small sensor  and VR (OIS) gives me 1/60s with a 2000mm equivalent without support.
