Your main problem will be the slow focus of this lens, probably there is a lot of glass to be moved inside.

The 40 -150 Pro has ring/voice coil type motors that are fast and silent. Oly split focusing into two small groups and thus, moving mass is quite low. In sum, if there's a faster focusing m4/3 lens I'd love to have it!

This is the theory.

But if I have to change focus between a close portrait and a full body shot, even at F2,8 it takes some time on the EM5ii, comparable to the 1,7/20 on the GX7 or even longer.

Or is there a way to accelerate AF? I use face recognition AF-S.
