I have the original Canon M, and one of the things I don't like about it is that you can't set the minimum shutter speed, and the camera seems too enthusiastic to choose a speed setting of 1/30 rather than 1/60 (or faster) which I'd like. When using the camera as a point and shoot, like other family members want to do, that's a problem.

Can anyone tell me if they put that setting yet into the M2, M3 or M10?

Thanks.

I have Canon EOS M10 and for that model minimum shutter speed is 30 sec. You have to be in manual mode >TV option. By rotating the ring that is on top right side of a camera you can manually change the shutter speed up to 30 sec. I recommend using tripod for that speed and setting timer to 2 sec.
