GREAT All-Round Camera

My D5000 used to be my primary camera, but when I got more and more advanced, I needed something better with more features.

PROS: Bigger screen than D5000 (2.7" vs 3.0"), twice as many menu options, top LCD is really nice, buttons placed more conveniently, looks less "chunky" than a D5000, and lots more pros that I can't think of at 3:00 a.m.

CONS: Heavier than some other beginner cameras, cannot accept lenses that don't have a built-in AE chip, plastic body doesn't FEEL stable, but it actually is.

Overall, this is still (and will always be) a great camera.

Here's a panorama I took at Palomar Mountain with the D90 and 18-70, stitched together in Photoshop, and later edited in Lightroom to dehaze:

Image taken at Boucher Hill (pronounced booker hill) fire lookout tower at Palomar Mountain. Just zoom in and look at that crazy detail, though!
