Dpreview reported a 1.92 crop factor when the Mark II came out.

Well try doing the maths yourself.

The easiest way on any camera is to look at the claimed equivalent wide angle focal length and divide by the actual.

24/12.5 = 1.92

I agree it's easy but it's not always that accurate. It assumes that the claimed equivalent wide angle focal length (or indeed the claimed tele focal length) is correct. Sometimes these are rounded down or up for marketing reasons, which shouldn't happen of course but I guess it's tempting for the manufacturer to quote, say, what might be a 25mm focal length as 24mm, or, say, a 117mm lens as 120mm. And if you throw the different aspect ratios, e.g.3:2, 4:3, or 16:9 that many cameras now have into the mix you can get inaccurate figures.

So, if it really matters to anyone and for most people it probably won't much, it is more accurate to compare the diagonal of the image area of the sensor with that of a 35mm sensor (full frame) which is 43.26mm and calculate the crop factor that way.
