Props to the best answer: dual card slots?
1

Why hasn't anyone made a battery grip for a mirrorless camera (or any camera) with a second card slot?

In fact, I'd be over the moon if the E-M1 successor had a completely modular grip side of the camera. A slim option with 1 battery and 1 slot for a trimmed down small package and a power option with "man sized" grip, 2 battery slots, 2 card slots and vertical portrait controls. (More GH4 sized). And sure... since you asked... the larger grip could have headphone and mic sockets too.

But really why no second card slot in a battery grip?  1000 shots on a charge and dual slots is my mirrorless pipe dream.

Cheers all.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?
