I very much enjoy the results this camera produces too and it has become my default travel camera.

It does have a few faults but ones which I have learned to live with.  The most annoying of these is the fact that the camera will not focus at night on a subject with lights / streetlamps in the scene, e.g. cityscapes.  This is a bit odd since it will focus quite happily on the same scene at night without the lights.

The twin control rings around the lens are a great idea but they can be very laggy in use.  I've set one of mine to alter the focal length, the idea being that it should be quicker to select a particular focal length than using the zoom control around the shutter button.  It works, sort of, and it's useful being able to go straight to a specific focal length such as 28mm, or 85mm, but sometimes it 'thinks' about it before responding.

The last point is the poor positioning of the Mobile Connection Device button.  I can't count the number of times initially that I accidentally hit this with my thumb and the camera then starts looking for a WiFi connection.

But overall it's an excellent machine.
