Getting rid of my 56mm, how much faster is the 90mm?
2

I have been shooting more with my 56mm and although the optics are great, this lens simply turns me off. I prefer my 35mm 1.4 over this lens simply because it is way faster and lighter at the same time, so i'm thinking of selling the 56mm. I just cannot believe that such a wonderful new "modern" lens would be built to perform in such a slow way. That's... kind of lame from fuji's part HMHO. With this kind of performance might as well buy a samyang and shoot 100% manual with focus peaking.

Also the last two photos below show how bad the focus capability of my copy is. It is plenty bright and clear and contrasty outside and my lens could not focus on the metal post (the red metal part). I think someone else recently mentioned this issue as well where in certain situations this lens doesn't know what to focus on.  I actually just discovered this by accident. Now I really find no reason to keep this lens.

How much better, responsive, accurate, is the 90mm?
