I may have have purchased a totally manual lens with no electrical connection to my G7 in order to get myself out of the "happy snapping" mode I find myself falling back to way to often.
Am I right in think that focus peaking is the only tool a recent Panasonic MFT body offers a totally manual lens as the AF+MF Picture In Picture focus magnification requires an AF capable lens to be fitted?
Any tips and hints gratefully accepted.
I programmed the left button on 4 way controller buttons to magnify..... that and focus peaking should get you there.... (although you could program other function buttons to do the same....) anyway, I think that is how I left it...just got my G7 a couple of weeks ago and I keep experimenting to try and find the optimum for me.....at work now, maybe others will pipe in before I get home tonight...
