In Hawaii, it always comes with two scoops rice. You've got to have your three main starches---mac salad, potato salad, and rice---to make it ono (delicious). Lots of food trucks (roulottes) serve prawns on the North Shore of Oahu.

When you and Lena say "mac salad" you mean macaroni, do you?

The roulottes in Pape`ete are pretty decent, although the last time I was there too many of them were into SE Asian cuisine rather than French/Pacific.

Yes, the SE Asian stuff, excellent though it might be, is invasive!

Aibika being a local peppery green leaf vege, somewhat chewy. It is being "greased" in coconut. The bananas are just plain boiled today.
