Are you shooting an SD1/M for IR work? If so have you tried the Monchrome (BW) option off the thumbs page?

SPP 3.5 seems to give a better contrast in mono.

I don't have a SD1M, I have been using the SD15 & original DP1 & 2 without the hot mirrors.
