You already own an Olympus EM5 II and an outstanding 12-40mm PRO lens and you want to "jump ship" to another system to save a few grams of weight for a second "wide angle zoom kit?"
Did I hear that right?
According to your gear list, you already own two systems..... Nikon DX and M4/3.... and now you are considering adding a third system?
Well, it's your money after all, but since you asked for other's opinions, I think you are being really foolish to add a third system to save a few grams of weight on a specialty camera and lens.
Will you be able to use your $750 Sony lens on your EM5 II? Can you use your $900 12-40mm PRO lens on your new Sony a5100? I didn't think so.
Why not just buy a Panasonic GM1 and a Panasonic 7-14mm lens?

If you do that....
- You aren't adding a third system
- You end up with the lightest possible kit
- The GM1 works better with the 7-14mm lens than the EPM2 will
- You now have a very nice 12-32mm lens, rather than a horrible 16-50mm
If you wanted a bigger sensor than why did you spend $2000 to buy an EM5 II and a 12-40mm PRO lens? Isn't that Sony a5100 sensor the exact same size as the Nikon D5000 sensor you already own?
There are small cameras, light cameras, cheap cameras, and cameras with big sensors.... but you can't get all four in the same place. All systems are compromises in one way or another.
Do you really want to spend all this money to add a third system, simply because the sensor is marginally bigger than the one you have in your primary camera?
I also use three different cameras, an Olympus EM1, an Olympus EM5 and a Panasonic GM1, but they all share the same lenses. I was once a two system user too, but I wanted to simplify my life, so I got rid of my Sony A55 and my Sony Alpha lenses. I didn't jump ship, I sank that ship and I am glad I did.
The Sony A55 was a wonderful camera, and it had a lot of really nice features too, but I just didn't see that much advantage to having a slightly larger sensor, and there were too many other advantages in having a much better lens selection with M4/3.
Good luck, whatever you end up doing.
Like I said, it's your money.
