Upgrade 1100D or invest in lens

Actually there is a very noticeable difference, esp once you get out shooting and comparing.  The increase in resolution alone is very nice, esp if you print or crop much.

infact the high iso performance was better in 1100D imo. Im attaching some pics from the "compared to raw" section from the review of this very site.

Keep in mind that you are looking at 100% crops, and the newer cameras give you 50% more resolution (thus they appear noisier unless you adjust for that increased resolution).

I always shoot RAW and never shoot video

RAW is good.  You are stacking the odds iin your favor already.

The T6i and T6s are fabulous cameras but out of my budget. I have a 50 f1.8 ii, 55-250is ii ,75-300iii, Tamron 18-200 non vc ,

so i was thinking to keep my 1100D for now and get a 10-18 is stm, the thing i miss most in the 1100D is the auto sensor cleaner but love the huge battery life.

Thoughts..

It really depends on what you shoot and how you like to shoot it.  Can you expand on this a little?
