G7X M2 Intensive Reviews (In Japanese)
May 15, 2016
Back when the G9X was released, I put the link to this Japanese review page on this forum, and I believe people enjoyed it. Here is a review page for the G7X M2:

There are tons of pictures, and my recommendation is to go through the review pages instead of the sample picture pages:
Review: http://ganref.jp/items/compact/canon/2909/review
Sample pictures: http://ganref.jp/items/compact/canon/2909/photo
That's because if you go to the sample picture pages and click a picture, then you cannot see its EXF data; and right clicking on the image (to save it) is disabled, so the only way around is to view the HTML source code and manually find the image link, which is not hard to do but probably not very straight forward, then you could save the image and review its EXF data easily. But that's too much hasle, so instead, go to the review page, then (hopefully) Google translator can give you a good idea on what each review is about so that you can click on what you are interested in. On each review page, each image is accompanied by the EXF data. There are currently 186 reviews, written by a group of people who have participated in the G7X M2 review program (on-going). I guess it is due to the Japanese culture that there aren't many portrait pictures at all on such a public page, but still, there are tons of pictures for you to enjoy.
As for me, since I already have the G9X and the Sony RX100M3, I don't really need the G7X M2. But that doesn't mean I don't want one, right?? Well, I could not justify having all three, but if the G7X M2 images are as sharp as the RX100M3 images, then maybe I could replace the RX100M3 with the G7X M2??? 100mm zoom at f2.8 is sweet for bokeh, and the touch screen is lovely.
