Finding the cards

I am very happy for you that you found the proper card. Do not feel embarrassed at all. Things happen. Just be glad you found the pictures. Read the many sympathetic posts here. Yes, IT IS a big deal when you can't find your picts. Glad you found yours. No worries. People just trying to be helpful - be proud of them for that.

A good story and a good ending, I have been in that "what the heck?" situation myself at times but getting better now.

In my old age to avoid too much confusion, my wife made a card holder folder.....

The email blobbed out to avoid trolls.

I use 16gig cards, they are tucked into the pockets in twos and when filled are put back reversed and with write protect on. Also nightly copied of course to netbbook and USB hard drive backups as I go. Mine are numbered by a Brother or Dymo style plastic tape labels and my wife's 8 gig card for the Casio pocket camera are lettered.

The odd 32gig micro card is now in a small Lenovo tablet but the adapter card still lives there. Also now I think that I have accumulated about 15 of those 16gig cards so they all get slowly cycled to even out the wear.

Regards.... Guy
