More Images of Rajastani Migrant Workers (Part 2)
7

Hi Everyone:

Here are a few more images of the group of Rajastani migrants who I photographed in India. Taken with an SD15, 17-70mm lens, in the shade, with tent doors as a background. Actually, I find the doors framed the subjects nicely. They kind of functioned like studio muslin backdrops, but of a grungy sort that suited the atmosphere.

Thanks,

-Charles

Reminds me of a specific Renaissance painting of Madonna and Child. I have looked for the painting I am thinking of but unfortunately cannot find it. Her stare is intense.

This young pixie boy was full of mirth.

Here is a young buck. I love his stance and the way his pants seem illuminated.

The child had such an interesting face, as did the older boy.

A bit tipsy and wobbly.

Some of the women had such impressive attire.

This fellow is the very definition of swagger!
