Almost forgot!
The T6i is surprisingly light. I have picked up the 70D in Sams club and it's like carrying a brick. Not so with the T6i. I can say it would be no problem to carry it all day. It easily compares with the SL1 in that respect. Being so light you may think it feels "cheap". Not so. I think this is one major advantage of the Rebel line. They may not have all the bells and whistles of the the 7D, 70D, 80D type of cameras but they certainly won't cause orthopedic problems if you carry it all day!
What you are really buying is a sensor and firmware. With the new 24mp sensor and the new digic firmware I see no reason why this camera in the right hands can't compete with the D series minus a second or 2 difference in changing settings.
Thanks again and remember I am certainly not a pro and this is simply a feeble attempt at a review of the camera I am still learning things about every time I use it.
