Panasonic 100-400 or Olympus 300 F4 on GH4

Hello everyone, relative newbie to digital photography here..

I have very specific requirements from my gear - falconry action shots of trained hawks hunting (in the variable lighting that is typical of a UK winter).

I own a GH4 and have used 3 Panasonic lenses (35-100 F2.8, 100-300 and 45-175) with varying levels of success to capture the shots I would like. I need more range and I'm seriously considering either the 100-400 or the 300F4.

Is anyone using the Olympus 300F4 on a GH4? I would be interested to know how the C/AF performs with fast moving subjects. A shutter speed of 1/1000 seems to be ideal for the type of hunting shots I'm after. Due to the overcast conditions I often encounter, I'm thinking the Olympus may be a better bet.....but not if the AF is not up to speed.
