What do you capture that needs more than 30 minutes of video without any breaks possible?

Classical concerts. Musical pieces can be longer than 29 minutes and 59 seconds (especially considering sometimes an introduction to a piece will also be given and sometimes several pieces are part of a whole).

And especially since my job is a one-man operation, I thought it would be nice if I do not have to worry about one stationary camera. I did try my Leica D-Lux with WiFi which is probably the same as the G7. I will test the reliability with distances.

I actually bought the G7, but something was wrong with the special warranty (water damage, etc.) so I have to take it back and buy it again with warranty (which is understandable, because otherwise it could be misused: buying it without warranty, accidentally break something, add the warranty and 'then' bring it back.

I decided the G7 is the best decision, because of the good high ISO performance compared to the GH4, the lower price (I do not need all the bells and whistles 'yet' of the GH4, and especially not of the GH4R). With two camera's I can just start one camera a bit later and cut to that one to fill in the gap of the former one if necessary. And I will test the WiFi.
