No one notices but Panasonic JP web site clearly says that DFD works with other company's lenses. It says by using part of the DFD function so I assume it is not 100% works just partially.

This happened with newer cameras like G7 and GX8.

I had E-M1 and G7. I bought 40-150 pro last year because this made me wanted to know which is better AF with the lens.

After extensive use of both cameras for BIF (mostly swallows), in most cases, G7 was a lot faster and less frustrating than E-M1

On the other hand, I felt E-M1 is better (accurate) for closer and bigger moving targets like dogs, cars etc.

BTW, I am Japanese so English might be weird
