Should I get an X-Pro2?

Little background. I've been shooting film for years and have always wanted a rangefinder-like digital camera with physical controls. I understand basic photography concepts and have experimented with an X100S and enjoyed it, but wished it had more physical controls.

Most of my digital photography has been done with my Sony Xperia cellphone because I wasn't happy with any of the options out there. The X-T1 was the first to really pique my interest, but I don't like the SLR look. I know that sounds dumb, but I prefer the rangefinder look for street photography.

I'll mostly be using this to print posters for myself, friends, and family. And I'd like to build a nice Flickr page with completely license-free street photography that anyone can use.

Reasons why I like the X-Pro2:

  • It just came out, and the X-Pro1 was five years old before they did that. In a world where most manufacturers replace a model within 1 year I feel like I am going to get a long time of use with this camera before needing to switch.
  • It's weather sealed and so is the 35mm F2 lens it can be kitted with. While I don't go around shooting in monsoons, it's nice to know I can shoot in the rain without being worried.
  • I love that there's a manual ISO control. Some people aren't happy with it, but I figure if I don't like it I can just use the Fn button or something.
  • From reading reviews it sounds like the sensor is amazing for low light photography. I never shoot with a flash and enjoy night time photography in black/white so this is especially welcome.
  • The JPG images are well regarded and while it's nice to be able to play with RAW, sometimes I want to just take a nice shot and not worry about post processing.

So being my first real digital camera, and a fairly expensive one, do you folks thinks it makes sense for me to get? I Here are some shots I take with my mobile phone . Do you think I'm "good" enough to get such a camera? Or is this only for someone who gets paid professionally as a photographer?

My hesitation here is that this camera is targeted at pros, and I am most certainly not a pro. And it's a hefty investment.

I guess I'm looking for reasons for or against buying this, from anyone who was in a similar position.
