What a PICKLE!

I'm doing a wedding next month and the XT2 has't come out yet and the Xpro2 is still too expensive and does not have a tilt screen which it would help my lower back recent surgery. Darn! Talk about bad timing.

I honestly don't feel comfortable shooting the wedding with my XE1, although I will be using it as a back up with a second lens attached to it. I wonder how much it costs to rent a XT1 for five days. The bad part is that I can't rent and start shooting with a camera that I have never used before.

I have several options, either buy the XT1 or a XE2, or just jump to the Xpro2. Then again it is scary because there are issues going on right now with the Xpro2 and I do NOT want to find issues as I'm shooting during the wedding. That would be sad.

Another thing is that I only have two lenses, the 18-55 and the 35mm. Do you guys think the 18-55 is capable of shooting a wedding?

By the way, I'm not getting paid for the wedding. Is a gift.

For bokeh I will be switching to the 35 and I want to buy the 90mm. But do you think the 18-55 can handle it for now until I get a better lens? I would be mostly be using it towards the wider range. I would love to get the 16mm also but I just don't have the money to buy both the 16 and 90mm plus a flash gun, plus the camera.

See, that's what happens when you are not rich

What's your thought on this crazy situation?

UPDATE:

A seller from craigslist responded back and might be willing to sell me their XE2 for $450. Do you guys think this camera can handle weddings?
