Skip it Laurie899. The EVF is great if you want an EVF. However the EVF is only useful if you use it. If you never use it, it is actually disturbing if set to automatic switch between the EVF and the rear screen. The EVF have a proximity sensor that activates the EVF and turns off the rear screen if something (the face hopefully) comes close to it . It is very handy if you like me enjoy both EVF and the rear screen, but for someone who uses the rear screen most of the time it can be better to turn the sensor off and choose screen manually. My 5 cents.
