Interesting. For me the two women anchor the shot, as they look across at the woman with the ice cream and thus link the two halves of the frame.

the general scene is interesting, but i would love to see more of the arch above the doorway--it looks a bit cut off to me.

I agree. However I had only the fixed lens on board and was backed up against the wall on the other side of the street. I may re-visit with an appropriate focal length.

the bw seems to be a good choice for this scene.
