Comparison of shuttershock GX7 vs. GX8?
Comparison of shuttershock GX7 vs. GX8?
Apr 20, 2016
Hello everybody,
The topic "GX8 shuttershock" has nearly been beaten to death by now. However, to decide if it would be a problem for me, I would like to get an impression from those who have used the GX7 and the GX8: Is shuttershock with the GX8 worse than with the GX7?
I have the GX7 and - without claiming to never suffer from shuttershock - I found that user-based problems regularly outdo those from shuttershock. So, if the GX8 is not worse I would be fine with it. E-shutter is often no solution for me, because one of my main areas is dance photography (ballet, contemporary dance, tribal and tribal fusion) where you have fast movements (sometimes lead to distorted hands) and flickering LED stage lighting.
Thanks for your answers ---
