Use a tripod. You would be surprised the sharpness you can get from your present lenses. Here is a shot from what most call a mediocre old 70 to 210 F3.5/4,5 that you can buy on ebay for about either side of $125. Yet using it on a tripod and careful focusing he results are amazing. The operator variables in why a lens does not appear to be all that sharp are too numerous to mention.
