Hi,

Currently I've Canon 50 f1.8(Which performs really well), Canon 55-250(Very poor with image quality) and almost dysfunctional 18-55 on Canon 550D body. I am planning to buy Canon 80D. I gad enough of poor image-quality of 55-250, now I am really focusing on sharpness and image quality of imagesfor my general purpose lens. But I still have this confusion going on, which lens should I adopt for Canon 80D, Canon 17-55 f/2.8 or Canon 15-85 f/3.5-5.6?

I am looking for working on stock projects now.

Please help.

As others have mentioned, go FF if you can.  The 6D is a very nice camera with excellent image quality.  The L lenses perform better than the EF-S.  However, if you're stuck on the 80D, then the 15-85 is a nice quality lens.  I used to have one and it was very good... for the most part.
