Sensor size has ALOT to do with photography. We are talking about controlling your DOF witch is an integral part of composition.

There is no such thing as ideal sensor size they just all give you different results given the same setting. A portrait photo with your Olympus at 50mm f2.8 is going to look a lot different than a APS-C or FF at the same settings. That doesn’t mean you can make the images look the same you just need to use some “equivalence” calculation to figure out what lens you need to get the look you want. That is all us “equivalence boys” are advocating for.
