The camealabs comparison is very good. What it clearly shows is if you want the best extreme corners then the 1.4 is the clear choice, though if you shoot RAW and use something like Iridient Developer and turn off lens correction the 35/2 does improve yet you get some more distortion hence the purpose of built in software correction
