Sounds to me you need to:-
1. Check menu option G - Keep Warm Colour, is turned off
2. If No.1 fails your expectations - Trade in all your Olympus gear...THE LOT!
3. Evaluate what focal lengths you mainly shoot
Always good advice.
4. Purchase a Panasonic GH4 - the GX's have crap Evf's
Obviously you've never used a GX8. The EVF is excellent!
5. Carefully consider a Panasonic 14-140 Mk2
Yep, best superzoom in the M4/3 system. Too bad it's not weathersealed.
6. Stop chasing gear and pixels
How many times must I be told I haven't used a gx8. Yes and compared to a sony, nikon, olympus and fuji they are rubbish indoors in my opinion. Anyway the gx8 is a design-less brick.
If weathersealing is an issue buy the 14-150 olympus.
You said that the GX's have crap EVF's... And the GX7 does have a bad EVF (well, for certain people, me included, it has an EVF that is almost unusable). But to say the EVF on the GX8 is crap is like saying the Oly E-P1 has better AF than the Oly Pen-F. It's just wrong. Period. Whether you care for the GX8 or not is besides the point. The GX8 could be a totally useless camera, or the ugliest camera ever built by man but the EVF is, bar none, the best EVF in M43. Period. One of the best EVF of ALL cameras out now (I know the Leica SL supposedly has a better EVF, not sure about the new Sony's or the new Fuji's though).
