Re: @ KL Matt - point the way to that higher class of lens .......

I have the K01/K3/D7100 and the D750 and all of them are capable of excellent results, the K01 is the "least great" for obvious reasons, just to put things into perspective here:

The K3/D7100 are almost indistinguishable in terms of IQ, they are "that close", sharpness/noise/DR, both are capable of top flight razor sharp images.

The D750 is FF and has the best IQ, in spite if it's AA filter it's sharp, sharp, sharp, is it sharper than the K3/D7100? maybe a hair, but I think it's just because FF is less demanding in terms of magnification...... it wins unsurprisingly in terms of image noise and DR (14.5 EV) comfortably-comfortably, but it's FF!

As for the horse image and it's accused over-sharpness artifacts, "if it's really an issue" (and that's a big if), back off the sharpness slider, it's not hard!

The photo-world is agreed that the that Sigma lens is excellent and is breaking new ground and knowing the D750's sensor and the lenses reputation it's clear that the images coming out of that combination are going to be super sharp, little point in saying anything different!
