Hi I've had a 450D for a few years and I fancied an upgrade to one that also did video.
I purchased a second hand Canon 750d and I'm having a few issues.
I get "this function is not available in moving shooting mode" I've tried lots of settings and also defaulted the camera but can't get it to record video. Also I've tried a few different lenses and different memory card (I'm using a Lexar Pro 64GB Class 10 - UHS-II)
I have a relative that was unable to record video with a lexar video card and some cards labeled class 10 can't record full HD video on rebels. PNY professional cards work.
Also it has a constant message on the screen "this function is not selectable in the current shooting mode".
I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction
I think the SD card is your problem not the camera
Thanks
Mark
Hi thanks for all the comments, it turns out the camera was at fault. They replaced the flash unit and also as far as I can tell have reloaded the firmware.
Not sure how the camera flash would affect video recording.
I had a little play last night and it seems perfect
Looking forward to shooting some pics and videos at Goodwood this weekend
Your explanation of what was wrong was extremely vague.
It wasn't just the video that didn't work. The basic functions weren't working correctly.
This is all I got from the repair but the error messages have all gone so I would guess that the firmware was corrupt. The Flash kept getting err 05 too which they have replaced.
Labour . . . : Replaced faulty/damaged external parts.
