Thinking the Nikkor AFs 24-70 2.8 will be perfect for the D500

What lens combinations will you be using on the D500 if you also have and simultaneously use a full frame camera?

Before putting in my pre-order for the D500, I thought long and hard about lens selection. I currently have a D810 and D700, I'm planning for the D500 to replace the D700.

I shoot a lot of street, travel and music shows. I finally came up with the solution to use my Nikkor AFs 17-35 2.8 on the D810 and the Nikkor Afs 24-70 2.8 on the D500. The 24-70 will be my main shooter, giving me a 35-105 FF equivalent coverage. That should work for most general shooting. I'll go to the 810 with the 17-35 when I need to go wider.

If I'm lucky enough to get out bird hunting, I'll rent something like the 200-500.
