Its hard for us to help you when we dont know how your going to use it. The K1 is going to have a lot better low light performance but if your always on a tripod shooting iso 100 or typically 1600 and below then id save some cash and get the k3.

I honestly don't know about "is going to have a lot better low light performance ". Compared to what?

I asked this question recently and most everyone said it will have fantastic high ISO performance, but then I discovered that for a fact, a 24MP FF (like the nikon D750) does indeed perform better at high ISO than a 36MP sensor. Unless this sensor has been tweaked in the K1, then I doubt you will get that "a lot better" low light performance. Again, compared to what?

I'm sure and positive is going to be better, but 36MP is not the best for low noise high ISO either. So, until this camera comes out and gets in the hands of someone and they start showing the true output, then I'll decide if this camera will be worth it to me.  Me personally I don't think I need that much MP, I need low light performance so me personally, I can't recommend this camera yet because I don't know if it will fulfill my needs.

Buttons252 is also correct. How can anybody even respond back to you "suggesting" to buy this or that camera when you don't say what your type of shooting and needs are? The fact that you want someone to help you choose that alone tells me that most likely you don't need a K1. No?
