Data Paralysis: Is it worth getting X-T1 even if you have an A6000

Hi All,
These forums have been great as I have learned a ton. I wanted to get your opinion on this.
Current Gear:
- A6000
- Zeiss Touit 32 mm
- Sony 16-55 Kit lens
What I shoot:
- Portraits of family, friends & mainly my 5 month old
- Social Events
Why I want another camera/lens system:
- Sony lenses cost too much
- new Sony 24-70 is around $2k
Goals:
- Want more of a full frame look...aka more shallow DoF and bokeh
- Want a new camera/lens system that compliments A6000
- Want Camera/lens combo not too crazy heavy
Options:
- Buy X-T1 w/ 23, 56 and then eventually 50-140 when my kid is older. I heard that the 56 is amazing and provides an image close to FF 85mm
- Buy Nikon d610 w/ Tamron 35 sp, Nikkor 85 1.8g and eventually Tamron 70-200 when my kid is older
Misc:
- I tried both at a local store and ergonomically they both feel great
- I will admit the X-T1 felt better to hold
- I plan to rent both from borrowlens to test each more thoroughly and then to see how the raws behave in Lightroom cc
Ask:
- Can you please let me know your thoughts if the XT-1 is duplicative to having an A6000? If yes, that might push me to getting the d610 instead.
Appreciate your help on this.
Thanks,
Ryan
