The NX 10mm isn't just crazy sharp, it will get you shots you just can't get with anything else.

Wow what a great image... you did do some Distortion correction, correct?
I have Fisheye-Hemi (PS plug-in) and I can't remember if I used it on the Mesa Arch image (above) or not. Some images just look great without correction. I've found Hemi retains sharpness at the corners/edges.
An example - leave the fisheye effect ----

Im just Seeking out the top 3 options and if I find a offer too good to pass Ill get it.
Found an old comparison between NX10mm and Rokionon 8mm ... says with the NX 10mm you can damn near touch the glass with a subject and i will be in focus....
Yep. I use mine for macro sometimes, it's just a fun lens to experiment with. This bee was about an inch from the front element. You need to take care not to touch something that could damage the element - it's easy to get closer than you should.

Gonna keep my eye on eBay for a bit and if nothing sways me Ill go the sammy parts route...
also considering avoiding the NX 12-24 all together...there seems to be quite a few reports on google about them "falling apart"with light use...(really???!!)
I like the FL of the 12-24 (I had lots of fun with the Panny 7-14 on a GH3) and I think the breaking-apart issue is in the past, from what I've read. I'd jump on the 12-24 except with a camera like the NX500 I really like the pancakes. The NX 10mm is so small and light!
And don't listen to those clowns who say you need a tele lens for wildlife - that's what fisheyes are for.

not a good sign if like me.. your hording lenses and batteries with the intent to use this system for the foreseeable and unforeseeable future...
again thanks for the great example
You're welcome!
